OUR LITTLE FRIEND…

We love design and one of our favorite pieces is the Vitra Eames House Bird. We like him so much that we decided to use this beautiful bird in our projects as our signature.

What a lot of people don't know is that the famous bird was not designed by Charles and Ray Eames.

He was known to be very often in the center of the living room pictures in the house of the famous couple. They bought the bird on one of their trips and also fell in love with it and started taking lots of pictures with it around their house. Definitely, an artifact of American folk art that was evidently highly treasured by the couple in the Appalachian Mountains.

In 2007 Vitra re-edited the object and launched it to the world.
